On March 13, 1997, a mass UFO sighting occurred across an approximately 300-mile range from Arizona to Nevada. Known as the "Phoenix Lights," the case comprises two separate events: a giant V-formation around 20:00 and stationary lights around 22:00. Former Arizona Governor Fife Symington later publicly admitted he witnessed it himself — an exceptional case of political acknowledgment.

Event 1 (~20:00) — V-formation:

• Las Vegas → Phoenix → Tucson direction southward

Civilian claims:

• 2007 retrospective: "I actually saw it, and it was otherworldly"
