How do I get my current location?

Click the "Get Current Location" button. Your browser will ask for location permission; allow it to see latitude, longitude, accuracy, and the reverse-geocoded address instantly. No install needed; data is processed in your browser.

How do I re-enable location after blocking it?

Click the padlock icon next to your URL bar → Site settings → Location → "Allow", then reload the page. Same path on Chrome, Edge, Safari, and Firefox.

How accurate is the GPS?

Desktop (Wi-Fi based) is typically 10-100 m; mobile GPS is 3-10 m. The page shows accuracy in meters so you can judge reliability.

Why is the address blank?

If your location is outside Korea or the reverse-geocoding provider doesn't cover the area, the address may be empty. Coordinates are still shown.

Is my location stored on your servers?

Accepted Answer

For Korean addresses we use a cached reverse-geocoding service; for other languages we call Google's reverse-geocoding API. Coordinates are not retained beyond aggregate analytics.

What's the difference between WGS84 and DMS?

Accepted Answer

WGS84 uses decimal degrees (e.g., 37.5172); DMS uses degrees-minutes-seconds (e.g., 37° 31′ 02″ N). Same point, different formats — APIs prefer WGS84; navigation/survey often uses DMS.
